International Handball Federation (IHF)

The IHF appoints a Match Supervisor who is present during all matches and whose role is to ensure that all matches are played according to the IHF Rules of the Game.

The IHF Supervisor for the 2005 Handball Pacific Cup is Mr Sasha Dimitric.

Referees

Referees approved by the IHF and/or the Oceania Handball Federation control all matches.

Referees in the game of handball always referee in pairs, usually the same pair throughout their careers, especially at the elite level.

Neil Adams and Marek Tomaszewski are the IHF approved referees from Australia.

Vaitiare Brinckfeldt and Valérie Nena are referees from Tahiti Nui.

Technical Officials

The Technical Officials perform the key scoring and time-keeping roles during handball matches.  Technical officials from Australia include persons with experience from the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Ms Dorothy Potocka, Ms Kim Briggs and Ms Evelyn Ratima are time-keepers/score-keepers for the 2005 Handball Pacific Cup.
